One small step for (a) man; one giant leap for mankind


Launched on July 16, 1969, Apollo 11 carried Mission Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene 'Buzz' Aldrin, Jr. Forty years ago today, on July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above.
Amazingly, these days, a lot of people still don't believe that man went to the moon.And you...?
