Hey, I'm still alive!
I was diagnosed with a benign (lucky me!) brain tumour, a meningioma, in the right wing of the Sphenoid bone, but it's already (partially) removed. It all started when I fainted, for no reason, when speaking to a 27 kids class, in the school where I teach.Someone called 112 (the emergency number around here), I was taken to the ER of the local hospital where the neurologist on duty, after performing a brief standardized examination, recommended a CT scan of my head. Et voilà! -there it was: a four centimetres tumour. It all happened in the end of May. I was submitted to a surgery, but I’m still recovering and having complementary exams to find out whether it is possible to get rid the portion of the tumour that the surgeon couldn’t remove, because it was too close to the carotid artery. As a result of the surgery I’m presenting right hemiparesia, but I’m doing physiotherapy and the recovery is slow, but it does happen... a little bit every day. I was never afraid and, considering the circumstances, I’m doing fine.

Wow, myself and many others were wondering what had happened to you!
So sorry to hear you have been unwell but it's good to hear you are doing OK and I certainly hope it remains that way..
Hi, Milady
It makes us feel good about ourselves when we know that someone cares about us, that we have someone’s attention. I’m no exception and that makes me happy. Thanks a lot my dear.

I too have been wondering whether you have been super busy, or if something had happened to you. I did pray everything was good for you in your life, and am relieved to hear you are okay. What a scare it must have been!
