Red Devils Kings of Europe

Manchester United became kings of Europe for the third time, on a night of high drama and emotion in the pouring rain at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow after beating Premiership rivals Chelsea 6-5 in a thrilling penalty shootout.
The match ended 1-1 in normal time, with Cristiano Ronaldo opening the scoring and Frank Lampard levelling for Chelsea on half time.
Reds goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar was the hero with a penalty save to deny Nicolas Anelka, after Chelsea captain John Terry had missed the chance to win the Blues the trophy by firing his own spot-kick hit the post, after the match finished 1-1 after 120 minutes of action.
This was a painful defeat for the Blues, who played excellent football and could have won the match.
Congratulations to both teams!
